Read What The Newspapers Are Saying about Space Friends:

Space Friends, a line of four adorable foot-high dolls supposedly from another galaxy. There is Trimar, a furry brown three-legged animal with large teeth, green eyes and large green antennae. Grinly is a skinny, light blue creature with wings on his ears and feet. Breena is a fat, red-lipped four-armed thing with yellow hair. Zweela is similar looking but has wheels for feet.

Packaged in silver boxes with blue striping, they are now available in stores.

Yet there is more to their efforts than merely a story about a couple trying to make a buck.

The doll comes with an FBI fingerprint card and an ink pad so that parents can fingerspint their children. The card is designed so that parents can give it to police if their child should become lost of kidnapped.

It also comes with a cassette tape that has a loving message from the Space Friend. The message is followed by the Space Friends Theme Song with lyrics emphasizing safety.

Children may listen to the cassette when they play with the doll. The song is designed to get kids to learn the words and sing along.

They said the idea behind the cassette is to link the fun of playing with a bizzare, funny-looking doll and the importance of being careful.

Dale Wozny and his wife Brenda have created Space Friends,
who teach children to be wary of strangers.

TO HELP FURTHER THE CAUSE, A PERCENTAGE OF THE SALE OF EVERY DOLL
